We're more than nervous about putting ourselves out there for the first time. This whole project has been a long time in the making, so here's something to outline the idea behind each item you'll find on the full demo.
(De)Composure is the thing we keep to ourselves. It's the result of putting on a front, which all of us are all too familiar with. Everyone has something to hide, and for the first time, we're putting ourselves on display to show that it doesn't have to be that way.
Welcome None and All
One thing we wanted to do with everything we wrote for this was create something to be played for a live audience. While almost everything on the demo is created with a message in mind, this song comes purely with the will to empower and unite in the name of entertainment. Come together, and enjoy it like you're trying to put your foot through the floor.

Attack
Anxiety. From the tension in the end to the disorientating fear of the ending, we're making people aware.

Bl(i/a)nk
You might wonder whether or not you're always in control of what you think about. For me, this is the kind of thing that sneaks up in the dark and tells me that I'm not.

Count Me Out
Part of an initiative to explore the thoughts of everyone in the band, this song explores what gets hidden when someone else is the root of the problem.

Guitars, Vocals - Ethan Savage
Connected to the world of Stars, a bonus track following the demo, a character from the world of Eimae discovers his reality and rejects the futility of his life to pursue the true joys of his strange existence.
Can you tell most of the vocal tracks were put down in one day?

Guitars - Jonathan Moore
Bass - Rory Gillan
This Is Me
Identity. Fed up with taking a social backseat? So were we. Stand up; scream. This was the last song to be completed, and audibly the most moving for us to perform; the raking vocals of the choruses showing the fast-approaching end of our tether. Throwbacks to our childhood in the musicianship made this a special song for all of us.

Bass - Rory Gillan
Wake Up
A tangle with mortality, but a welcoming of friendship. Make your life worthwhile and sing it away with us.

This Song Has Swears
Sometimes what you've hidden can return when you don't expect it.
A world beyond this one, where vanishing stars unleash turmoil throughout the land. As the series of songs unfolds, will the sky of Am's Dark ever glow again?
Both bonus tracks written and performed by Ethan Savage
I am incredibly grateful to everyone who made this possible. It's not perfect, but it's a step in the right direction, and we're proud of it. Not everyone could make the sessions, but they made up for it in other ways, and I am thankful for all the effort which went towards making this dream a little more realistic for us.
