You'll learn pretty quickly from the homepage that we're not pushing a finished product. This is a foot in the door. This is a man-made chance to go somewhere. This is a truth and an honesty, given to you in its rawest form to judge.
If you only go with the base tracks from the EP, you'll feel how much we put into this from the sound of my voice. I want nothing more than to take this to a studio with all the other supporting material and play it into a proper album using a drum kit which isn't broken and a metronome which is actually audible.
It hurt to go through the writing, it hurt to record it in such a short time with such limitations, and I know it'll hurt to get it to the next stage. But if it reaches out to people in the same place, it'll be worthwhile.
This Demo is the most honest I've ever been in public. Even after making the lyrics more cryptic, there are things about me here which I've never told anyone, and I believe that there are other people out there hiding the same things as me.
If you give us a chance, we'll bring these people together and show them that it's ok not to be ok, because we've all seen (De)Composure.
